Do you know the name of his book, and if it is still available? It sounds like Harold and I are from the same line. I am curious where you found the middle name for my gg grandfather William (Isaac) Yoakum born Claiborne Co., TN b. 1820 / d. 1893 CA Son of Jesse and Anna Berry Yoakum, married 1st Sarah Stone... married second Eliza Kincaid.Both marriages were in Ray Co. Sarah died in August of 1856. William married Eliza Kincaid about 1858. You mentioned on the last page of your narration that I said that Isaac stops off in Ray Co., then moves to CA.Actually, I don't know where Isaac went, or if he went anywhere after Ray Co. I was referring to William Yoakum above. William born in Claiborne Co., TN (1820), moved to Ray Co. MO with his parents Jesse and Anna Berry Yoakum. William married Sarah Stone May 25, 1849. Their first child was John E. Yoakum, born in 1851, their second child was Mary Ann Yoakum (my great grandmother) born April 6, 1853. They had a third child who died in infancy I.J. born 4-9-1855 Sarah died in 1856 in Ray Co. William married Eliza Kincaid about 1858. They had a daughter Sarah "Sallie" W. Yoakum born June 5, 1859 married S.S. Houston. Sallie died 1899 in CA, and is buried in Armona, Kings Co., CA Second child Kate M. Yoakum born in Ray Co.1861. She married a man by the name of Davidson. Third Child was Forrest Yoakum, born 1868 in CA, died 1949, buried in Armona, Kings Co., CA. Forrest never married The forth child was Walter A. Yoakum born in CA in 1873. He married Georgia M. Walter died in 1930 and is buried in Kings Co. CA The fifth child was Florence Yoakum born in CA in 1875. She married Arthur King. Jan Hoy
